Story Time at the Library



The current children's story time session continues through Wednesday, April 30th.

Kids and families are invited to listen to a story (or two) and make a craft. 


Story times are held on the following days:


Monday evenings

6:30 p.m.

Tuesdays

10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Wednesdays

10:00 a.m.

for kids and young adults!

It’s been another busy summer at the library with programs for kids and young adults.

Dig Into Reading 2013 Stats:

1,015 kids participated in the Dig Into Reading Program.

170 young adults participated in the Beneath the Surface Reading Program.

20,872 books were checked out as part of the reading program! (That’s 347 books each day...just for kids and young adults).

820 people attended programs for kids ages seven to eleven.

Kids earned 1,495 free swim passes to the Pittsburg Aquatic Center.

Kids earned 505 free mini-golf passes to Four Oaks Golf Course. Swim and golf passes are courtesy of the City of Pittsburg.

3,899 kids (of all ages) came to story time this summer.
