PPL Poetry Reading

Pittsburg Public Library invites you to a Poetry Reading on Sunday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the meeting room.

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of poetry featuring Cody Shrum, Grace Hendrickson, and Khadija Ceesay. Cody and Grace are former library employees, while Khadija is a current library staff member. All three are graduates of Pittsburg State University.

Cody Shrum will be reading from his recently published chapbook, Green Acre, which was named the First Finalist in the 2024 Jonathan Holden Poetry Chapbook Contest.

Grace Hendrickson and Khadija Ceesay will also share their remarkable work.

This event is free and open to the public.
