The Pittsburg Public Library Board of Trustees approved updates to the Library’s Patron Services Policy at its April 15 meeting.
One key change is the discontinuation of overdue and billing notices sent via U.S. Postal Service. Due to rising costs, the Library will now rely on electronic communication and self-service options. Patrons can check their accounts online or contact the Library directly by phone for up-to-date information regarding materials and account status.
Additional updates include adjustments to borrowing limits as part of ongoing efforts to ensure equitable access to materials and reduce loss. The policy updates also include changes to fees for out-of-state PPL cardholders.
Patrons are encouraged to review the full policy for detailed information.
The Pittsburg Public Library remains committed to providing efficient, responsible service while meeting the needs of the community. Please feel free to stop by or call the library if you have questions or need additional information.
